They play a lot of games to clip you of money. I think it flows from the owners. You cannot for example get a copy of your lease contract unless you demand it in person and stand and wait for it. Even then, they may put you off for what ever reason and you do not get it. Then the unusual rule that you provide a 60 day written notice before you vacate the apartment at the end of the lease is enforced. Unusual and perhaps a little dishonest. This is typical of the style the resident management employees who are nice enough themselves have to exercise. There are many other functional problems with this place. They receive and hold packages for lease holders- a boon- but store them in a tiny room shared by all personnel. So little room that if you do not claim a package a Christmas time- within five days, they will return it to sender. So if you are out for a quick vacation to grandma's--good luck!

The apartments are old, Watch out for the walk through acceptance. If you do not review a copy of the problems you find- at the time- you may be held responsible for items you pointed out--Microwave worn out issue , refrigerator shelves broken or cracked, worn carpet, painting issues, but mysteriously did not get recorded on the walk through list.

I could go on for pages-

I lived at this place too. Don't bother looking at it. I was an out of state resident and was only able to view the model several months earlier which was much nicer than my apartment. When we moved in nothing worked from the get go except the new microwave. One toilet did not flush properly, the stove "rocked" back and forth and main burner did not work, which I ended up fixing myself. The dishwasher and washer were probably 15-20 years old and low end. The washer would not spin dry. I was told the newer ones don't work as well so that's why they keep the old ones. The disposal did not work at all and they did replace that. The cabinets were deplorable, those white ones with no knobs and all nicked up. I had someone come in to measure for new facias but they were never replaced. The living room blinds would not close and was told 3 times they would be replaced. Never happened. The fixtures in the kitchen were old, low end and all corroded. The shower heads were useless and dribbled out water, which I replaced on my own dime. You get the picture. When I moved out the women office manager and her body guard told me out my deposit I'd need to forfeit money to replace the silver stove pans which were clean, and pay for dirty tub cleaning and well as clean the carpets, which were spotless. The tub was 40 years old and previously stains beyond cleaning. What really irritated me was her attitude about the gate key for another occupant. We had to pay an extra fifty dollars for a gate key him but when you return it they keep the deposit. I questioned this and she could not find any documentation to support this non-refundable item. I said I had time to wait for her and she said she didn't and if I didn't pay it she'd charge me another fifty for not returning it. After I moved out, no check of course. Had to email for my check 4 times and the office manager would only call me back so she wouldn't be legally liable for anything in writing. She said the email system was not set up to respond, which was a lie since others had responded to me while I was moving in from NC. I had to go down to get the check as she said it was returned for no such address and then she confirmed my address, several times. When I went to pick it up I noticed she'd put the wrong address on the envelope. She told me twice the address I emailed to her was what she used. Live number two. Stay away from these overpriced low grade "luxury" apartments and save yourself some headaches.

I am a resident in The Grove at Turtle run, and I wanna say that the management is the worse ever, the appliances in the apartment not working properly and when I called for maintenance; the maintenance stuff has no experience and they can't fix problems correctly. the dishwasher not working, the AC not working beside the cockroaches all around the apartment.

beside you have to Park far away from your apartment building if you came late.

first day I moved in the gate control was not working, so we had to wait and sneak in behind some resident, then next few days the gate wasn't working at all.

after all its not good experience to have, I can't wait to move out from this community.
