Dixon Academy at Northeast

Kids have had every virus possible since attending this daycare. Too many kids to teacher ratio. Not very attentive

I love this daycare,the teachers are very concern about my girls well being, I love the interactiopn the director has with the children,I do ,not have any complaints.

I would never recommend this center to anyone. The Director there is the worst I have ever dealt with! I had several issues with her, and she really had no couth or any professional mannerism at all. She doesnt take any responsiblity for her actions, or own up to any of her mistakes...nor does she take any responsibility for her employees. And the owner of the daycare, Rosalyn Dixon, isnt much better neither. After writing a formal complaint to the owner it took her almost a month to respond, after patiently waiting for her response I contacted her again. After my 2nd attempt, she responded back and assured me that she would handle this matter and get back to me. After that I never heard back from her again! Nor did I get any type of response or follow up on my complaint. This does not sound like someone who truly cares about maintaining her reputation or the reputation of her business. Granted it has all the "bells & whistles", but looks can be deceiving, it is far from worth it considering the type of service that you are getting. The fact that they are located right by the hospital, and they make all their employees dress up in scrubs, may be their gimmick; but don't be fooled, because they are defiantly not managed or run by CMC Northeast Hospital. And for all the parents out there, with daycare children, and are just fed up, there is a website called ncdivisonofchilddevelopment.com, where you can access information about any daycare in the state. It also has a 1-800 number to voice your concerns.
