S & S Anodizing

I had some aluminum sheet pieces to match the anodizing on my vintage travel trailers for repairs. S&S were knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and got the work done in good time. The anodizing matched perfectly on each of the trailers which are different degrees of anodizing thus different tones. I highly recommend S&S.

Overview: Told me 5-7 days finish time, didn't finish for a MONTH. Screened my phone calls. Treated me poorly on the phone. Didn't even do the job correctly, as per the drawing supplied. Read below for the full experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone for any job.



This company was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with any company I work with. I originally called this place and explained the job that I had. The owner told me that the job was not very difficult and they could do it easily (it had a little bit of masking with two processes on a few parts). I took the parts in and I was told that they would get them done in 5 to 7 days, which worked for me because the parts needed to be done quickly, which I stressed when dropping off the parts and they assured me it would be fine.



A week and a half later, I had not heard anything from them and I called them. I tried 3 or 4 times and they didn't answer during their normal hours and not during lunch. I left a message. I got a call back 3 days later and they decided to tell me they needed more information from me. I gave them that information the next day and continued to wait.



After another few days, I tried to call to get an update from them on what was happening. Once again, I tried calling 3 times with it going to voicemail every time. I decide to try to call from a different phone number immediately after those three tries and someone answered on the second ring. That was when I realized that they had started screening my phone number (the number they had on my order). I tested this multiple other times over the next week of calling them with the same results every time.



Finally, a MONTH after I dropped my parts off, they were dropped off, I picked them up just to find out that they didn't follow my drawings and were missing some coatings. This has been the absolute worst experience I have had with any anodizing location (and I have used a lot). Along with that, they treated me poorly on the phone and caused delays in my schedule because they wouldn't do their job. I would never recommend this company to anyone under any circumstances.
