Meadow View Apartments

I am a resident at this apartment complex for 2 years. I cannot speak for other person since every apartment building is at different locations and different resident lives in it. My experience is and was like this. This apartment appears very good place to live at first. People at the main office are nice at first. Of course if you have great next door that would be plus, but in my case not so much.



When I first moved in it appeared nice and well maintained. Next thing I know, they removed part of stairway and started to fix stair to get to my apartment. 2 years later today it still looks like it needs to be finished up, it never got finished.



This winter, my tub was leaking and water was running into my living room. Called maintenance, couple days later they came, and I had second bathroom so I didn’t care much about them being late. They did fix the plumbing, and put new tiles and grouts. The grout was crumbling off next day. Called back apt complex, it took 6-7 weeks to get them to come out and fix them after 4 phone calls. And if I didn’t call back and used it, I m pretty sure it would come out of my apt deposit.



Also there is a neighbor who lives below me, I do not know what his problem is but he urinates in parking lot and in front of his door which is the stairway I mentioned above where I have walk everyday to get to my apartment. Contacted apartment complex, the office people talk to him and according to him it is water, but it looks yellow and smell like urine. Nothing was done. The problem was solved when he went away due to his medical issue, but now he is back it is starting again. Called apartment complex, they said they will talk to the guy.



And at top balcony, there is a nest of carpenter bee. I know it is not harmful for human but it does damage structure of building. So I called into the apartment office, they sent someone to take a look at the situation. No treatment. Called again and 4 days later a guy came with a can of wasp spray. Guess what. There are still bees.



Also some reason the apartment complex will not give parking spot in front of my apartment complex. According to them it is marked as side walk parking lot. Which Is clearly not true. Told Apartment complex people but they said it is marked as so in their map, therefore they cannot do anything about it, when I see multiple cars in complex parking at sidewalk parking spot. They cannot give parking spot to me.



Right now they are doing outside maintenance. They took down each building exterior a same day, and fixing it one by one instead of taking down one building at a time. My building has been look like 3rd world country slum for a whole month and a half. Since my building is the last building it will take another 6 weeks to finish half way.



In summary I had bad neighbor, poor maintenance, and ambient/ discriminating office staff.



I took time to write this showing how I hate this place.



I will be moving out of this complex and move somewhere better with about same amount of money.
