Marino's Seafood

Marino's is a family owned restuarant that has the best fish you will eat anywhere. Mr. Marino's batter recipe is very unique, very crunchy and wonderfully tasty. He also has battered Chicken and battered hot dogs. The hot dogs are called Crunchy dogs or battered dogs and they are on a stick similar to a corn dog but so much better. They also have the best hush puppies you will ever taste. I do not even like hush puppies but I can't get enough of Marino's hush puppies. The prices are very reasonable and they also have all you can eat specials daily. In addition to the wonderful food that they prepare, the service and atmosphere is great too. The hospitality of the entire Marino family is beyond belief. Even in the busiest time of day, Mrs. Marino has helped me carry my bags of food out to the car when she saw that I had my young Grandson to carry. I don't live in Columbus, so whenever I can make it to Columbus, I stock up on fish, chicken, crunchy dogs and hush puppies and take it home and it stays nice and crunchy even reheated. There is only one problem that I have found with Marino's and that problem is that it is a special one of a kind restuarant and there is ONLY ONE MARINO'S and I live three hours away from it. There needs to be more of them located throughout the United States so everyone could experience their great tasting food. But of course, it just wouldn't be the same without the entire Marino family there to greet you. If you live near Columbus or get the chance to visit there, you just have to go there to eat. It is very close to Ohio State University.
