As a psychologist, I specialize in treating adults with anxiety disorders, particularly obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, generalized anxiety, phobias and post-traumatic stress disorder. Cognitive behavior therapy is highly effective for patients suffering from anxiety disorders. It's a research-proven, skills based approach to decreasing symptoms, solving problems and creating a fulfilling life. I find it deeply rewarding to provide patients with tools that enable them to face their fears, view themselves and the world differently, master challenging situations and improve the quality of their lives. I am inspired by their courage on a regular basi hen I see a patient, I combine the latest proven methods with an empathic and respectful style. Using my expertise in cognitive-behavioral therapy, I build individualized treatments based off of my patients' strengths, to maximize effectivenes ne of the best parts of working at Ohio State for more than 20 years, has been the opportunity to work with passionate, caring and talented colleagues. Here at Ohio State, patients come from all kinds of backgrounds and experience different obstacles, but our network helps us provide them with the support and care they nee hen I'm not working, I like to relax with my family, read and play chess.
