        After spending $30 on three gl...

        After spending $30 on three glorious pints at Jeni's, I'm sitting here enjoying a small portion of each flavor: Ugandan Vanilla Bean, Rockmill Golden Ale and Apricots, and Brown Butter Almond Brittle.



        If calories didn't count, I would eat it every day, but the compromise I've made is to eat it occasionally, buying only the best, and giving it my undivided attention. Jeni's ice cream is fabulous, so even a small portion satisfies. I eat it slowly, meditating on the creamy richness melting against my tongue, savoring the flavors.



        I always buy the Ugandan Vanilla Bean for its unparalleled vanilla flavor. Other favorite flavors include strawberry buttermilk, milk chocolate, black coffee, salty caramel, mango sorbet and pear reisling sorbet. The Rockmill Golden Ale and Apricots I tried this time has gained a place in my list of favorites. The Brown Butter Almond Brittle had very good flavor, but it was a little too sweet for me.



        I'm looking forward to trying the Bourbon Butter Pecan next time.

        The shop we opened in June 2008 in the Bexley Gateway near Capital University is part of a charming storefront neighborhood that features art galleries, several destination dinner spots, and the illustrious Drexel East movie theater.
