Essington Village

Horrible! I'm currently a renter here patiently waiting for my lease to be up but I'm not sure that I can. We've been here over 4 years and just recently it's become mice infested! We reported it and their answer: glue traps and mouse bait. Doesn't work at all! It's not safe to live in fear of seeing mice. Also, our oven door needed to be replaced so they put on a door that was too big and Everytime I use the oven heat comes out. We needed to have our tub repainted and it took them nearly 2 years! My husband was injured and they wouldn't accommodate him. Our electric plugs are upside down and not even screwed into the walls. We work too hard to come home and be stressed out about our living conditions! Buyer beware!!!

Absolutely horrible customer service. The entire team including Stevie, liz and Brandon create an ever-present hostile environment where the customer is always wrong.



- before moving out last month, I paid $100 to professionally clean my apartment in fear of getting my deposit deducted but no surprises when I was told that $75 were deducted from my deposit refund for "general cleaning".



This place is a pig sty that smells like controlled substances and urine the moment you walk in. The company does a mediocre job of making the place livable.



I assume that their lives are miserable and they aim to spread said misery.



Pay the extra $50 and live in a place where you are not treated like a criminal

They do not even deserve one star, this place should be boarded up like the Northland arms apartments, BEG BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS, if you feel that you have to much blood you can pay Essington Village to accommodate you frustrations of Excessive Oxygen and nutrients throughout the body by hooking you up for at least a year of bed bugs. these tiny little creatures will suck that excess blood and make you think this place isn't that bad from all the malnourished braincells. DO NOT COME HERE! unless you already have bed bugs of course.

I would NEVER recommend that someone lives here. Like the previous review said, the people in the leasing office don't care about you. I was having an issue with the couple in the apartment above me to the point where I involved the police. The situation got completely out of hand and I went to the leasing office hoping that they would put an end to it. The male manager was very nice and very helpful, but the female manager was EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! She told me to "stop bothering the police" becasue she was sick of hearing about the situation and that if I did again she would give ME a lease violation and "send you on your merry way" meaning she was going to evict me!! Crime in the neighborhood is awful! Someone was shot execution style behind one of the buildings and the Dairy Queen was robbed and the manager shot, (Being true to the ghettoness of the neighbordhood, they put up a sign that said "Manager shot. Closed indefinitely".) and there have been several break ins. I'm definitely looking in to paying whatever I have to to break my lease and get out of this place. The walls are thin so you hear everything around you and the apartments are poorly insulated so if it's freezing outside, it's freezing inside. While the rent is cheap, IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!! Your life, safety, and sanity should be more important. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!

These are the reasons this place SUCKS... 1)no one in the office cares about your problems at all. the reason for this is because there are always workers being hired/leaving. if you expect something to get done, you have to repeatedly call the office because they NEVER call you back! 2)the crime in this area is horrible! i was woken up several times in the middle of the night by gunshots in the parking lot. 2 of my neighbors were shot and placed in critical condition 3)neighbors are always having loud, violent arguments. 4)the people in the office are LIARS!! they are only concerned about getting all your money 5)the hallways always smell like weed and have vomit in them because they are rarely cleaned 6)they do not return your deposit even though they tell you it will be returned upon move-out Simply put, I did not enjoy one second of living here. I even feared for my safety. No one in the office is competent and the rooms suck!!! I would not wish this place upon my worst enemy! DO NOT LIVE HERE!
