STEP ABOVE HELL OR BELOW HELL. Not sure which

I have lived in some pretty bad places before but nothing compares to the experience I've had living in E.W.V.Apts. now first off I have a blemish on my record from 2007,which makes it a little bit harder for me to find a decent place to live.first of all I have had serious maintenance issues since Day one. They never repaired things that were addressed on my move in checklist. I've stayed with a serious leak in my bathroom they cut out a huge hole abd never came back to repair it until 1 year later, mind you I still have the leak. My utility closet ceiling just caved in a totally ruined the water heater and pilot light was out for 3 days. No hot water. I have Black mold growing everywhere, knats that stay year round no matter how clean my house is. And I could go on forever. I don't know how the mysterious owner "David" has managed to avoid fines for city violations and such and how could he sleep at night knowing that his tenants are living in a horrible unsafe dirty environment. My son has had ringworm 2 times and the maintenance people come in smelling like Mary Jane and alcohol. So I finally complained to corporate and guess what? They raised my rent. I have one child and I'm struggling paying the rent As it is I don't know what to do. Oh a young woman was murdered right in front of my apartment a couple months ago and when I asked to move to the top floor so I would feel safe, they told me I would have to pay $250 to switch Apts. Plus the rent and I would also need to submit a 30 day request and notice just as if I was actually moving to a new location. I've been layed off and i don't know what I'm going to do. I live in a crap hole of an apartment, no job, and no husband, not that that matters. I cry myself to sleep most nights cause I can't afford to move and even if I could, that blemish on my record makes it Damn near impossible for me to find a decent place. DO NOT RENT AN APARTMENT HERE. YOU'LL REGRET EVERY SECOND EVERY MINUTE AND EVERY HOUR.

First off, if you're looking f...

First off, if you're looking for a complex to treat you with more disrespect than an alcoholic does their liver, look no further. The staff is lazy, rude, and from what I can gather, as competent as a common household plant.

Being disrespectful is the name of this place's game. I very calmly attempted to have a conversation about my car being towed with management and was immediately berated with lines such as "You expect me to look through every file here to find out which car is yours?". No, I expect you to be a little more personable with tenants. There's no need to raise your voice and give me drab monologue that I'm sure you rehearsed in the mirror right before you showed up 4 hours late. If you don't have a proper filing system that can quickly access individual pieces of information than I'm afraid to say you can't properly manage your tenants. It is not my fault that you can't take the extra time to communicate and avoid issues like this. Given, my car had been sitting but that was not presented as an issue until that tire was slashed. After that a sticker was placed and the car was towed, all within a few hours. The car was in the far back of the lot with nothing else around it but dumpsters. I was not blocking the dumpsters, nor was I preventing anyone from parking. I have lived in places with similar tow policies I have made every payment on time and have had zero complaints about my stay there and common courtesy can not, or will not, be extended. I can look past the fact that the property looks like hell, children run around unattended, the crime, the noise, the potential health hazard of a pool, the poor refuse disposal services, and constant maintenance calls but if you can't take the time to tell some one, "Hey, your car is gonna get towed unless you move it", don't expect me to cooperate with you. I'm sorry to say this but whoever owns/manages this complex I feel I speak on behalf of everyone there when I say, I hope you develop taste buds in your colon.
