High prices and high pressure sales. The technicians must be on commission with a high sales quota, as they consistently try to scare you into paying for additional services and ultimately to schedule an appointment with a comfort adviser to buy a new furnace system. I wish giving negative stars for their rating were possible. If they tell you it is broken, GET A SECOND OPINION from a reputable company. Better yet, read all the reviews & BBB complaints, do your research and hire a company with a good reputation. Just because Atlas Butler advertises the most, doesn't make them reputable.

This business is a rip off!!! If you have any other choice, choose somewhere else. The technicians are great, but their prices are really high. I pad 2X as much for a part here compared to competitors and they wanted me to pay ~$180 b/c they didn't have the part on their van and I wanted it installed that night. Is it my fault you don't have the part on your truck?!? No, that's the cost of doing business! also, they didn't disclose these extra fee prior to coming out; otherwise I would have told them no. Also they charged me twice as much for a after hours diagnotics service call. Overall, I paid $600 to replace a pressure switch on my furnace. It wasn't worth it! I am embarrassed, but I wanted to spread the word!

Crooks and lousy products. I bought a new furnace in the Winter of 2010. It lasted 2 winters before breaking down. I called to have a tech come over and do a diagnostic which cost me $89. He then told me the motor was bad ($869) as well as some container box ($569). I asked the tech what caused the motor to die so soon. He said, "dumb luck". I asked what caused the compartment box to break so soon. He said, "We've had a lot of problems with those. I might be able to come down on the price a little". he came down to $469.

SO: i bought a brand new furnace and after two short years it needed $1,527 worth of repairs.

The technician was very polite and proffessional but basically told me I was out of luck. AB seems very resigned to installing shoddy furnaces and charging an arm and a leg to repair them when they break. All the commitment to quality and satisfaction jargon they have on their website is total baloney. If they really were they would have made this right. I've called their office to voice my displeasure and was told someone would call me back. That was several hours ago - not holding my breath.

Furthermore, I've been researching furnace inducer motors online and the MOST I've seen them for is $300. I'm presuming thats for a big one. My house is only 800 sq ft and the furnace is tiny. So why is AB charging $869 for a tiny motor? Hmmmmm..

Don't use Atlas Butler. Over priced and shoddy products.

Mike did a great job. I could not be happier with Atlas Butler and Mike. He went above and beyond and made me very comfortable with the repairs needed. I feel I have a trusted advisor and will only use Atlas Butler for future repairs/services. Great job and thank you so much

The AB installation team were friendly, courteous and respectful to me. The also showed great respect to my home and yard while removing the old hvac system and installing the new system. I was already an Atlas Butler customer of the service department but this was my first install. I am very pleased. Our new system is soo quite and heats our home much more evenly. I have been recommending Atlas Butler to friends the past few years and everyone has felt the same way I do.



PS. We have been having Atlas Butler look at our system every year the past few years and I have had nothing but good experiences with them. We had some issues with our system that I was not excited to pay for but the techs always explained and showed us exactly what was wrong and the best way to fix it.

Great service! I needed to get my ducts cleaned before the house gets closed down for the winter, and chris did a great job. I have read a lot of articles talking about how some duct cleaning services are scams and that some companies do not do a through job. Chris came out to clean my ducts last week, he was extremely through, not just cleaning by the registers, but throughout the entire system.



I also cannot say enough about how professional he was. He didnt take one step in my house without booties and left my basement cleaner than it was when i got there.



I will be using Atlas Butler again, they were more expensive than a few competitors that I called, but you definitely get what you pay for. (the quality I expected)

Very speedy service but little value. The $89 will get you a diagnosis, but their cheapest tier beyond that is another $89. Granted, my unit is VERY old and dirty; the tech tried to get me to replace 2 parts for a cost of around $500 (as well as to sign up for the service agreement), then when I said no, he offered to just clean one of the parts-the flame sensor-for another $89 to see if that would fix the initial problem. I said ok, and within 5 minutes (MAX) he had steel-wooled the old part, had the cover back on the unit & was outside tallying up the bill. Yes, I do have a working furnace now but feel ripped off.



Since he already had to take that part out to make the diagnosis, I would expect him to do the 2 minutes of steel wool cleaning at no charge, or twenty bucks most, but an additional $89! Really? This means their minimum fix is really $178.00. Since I don't know what other companies charge I give them one star for speedy service and two stars for a working furnace.

I had the BEST SERVICE EVER from Atlas Butler! I have never used them before today and I am so thankful I did. I was scammed by a smaller company yesterday and Atlas came out and saved the day. Now I have heat and it didn't cost me more then my diagnostic charge. THANK YOU ATLAS BUTLER and especially Mike for being the BEST!!!!!!!!!!
