Greater Columbia

I have not experienced the wait times that the other reviewers experienced, however I make sure to always schedule my appointments as early as possible in the mornings. Always seen in a timely manner and staff is professional and not overly friendly. After all I am here for an appointment, not a party. The open labs and weigh in is a little disconcerting but not a deal breaker for me.

When I lost my baby two weeks ago I went in for a ultrasound to,check there was no embryo I was then sat in room for a hour and half. Her asst. came in there and ask some ? and left and said the doctor will be in there with you. See my regular doc wasn't there that day and now I wish she was. So I sat and sat I got tired and ask when is she coming she said in a few. That went on another 30 min. But the kicker of this story I was patient number 2 that day so why was my wait the longest. I have no idea. So I ask the nurse when is she coming in? In a few I gave it another 30 min and than I just left and told the nurse to have doc call me! So do u think that she did no. I had made a appt with my regular doc for that thurs and that is when she told me I lost my baby. So why the doc on mon did not tell me or call me that same day especially when I was patient num 2. I think that was just wrong to have me thinking I was preg and I had lost my little one. Than they call me last mon to come back for a check up on that Fri. I went against my better judgement and went any way this time I was the last patient they didn't do pelvic exam to make sure i past everything out the just ask me question. So now I am looking for a new ob before I get pregnant again cause the wait is to long and they did not care I lost my baby.

The wait time is ridiculous. Their attempts to break it up are all for none. You sign in behind a closed window because reception doesn't want to speak to you, not even a hello or a nice smile. Then you wait to go back and pee in a cup and weigh in front of several other patients and get labs drawn. Then you go back and wait some more. Then they call you back again to wait naked in a room for 30 minutes to another hour. They spend all of 15 minutes with you and you are sent back to the lobby to wait yet again if you need additional testing or an ultrasound. The shortest wait time I had was 2 hours and the longest was almost 4 hours. Now that I am pregnant with my second I will not be choosing Greater Columbia OBGYN.

VISITING WITH THE GREATER COLUMBIA OBGYN, I NEVER SEEN SUCH AN ASSEMBLY LIKE SERVICE, THE OPEN LABS...WHERE AS WHEN PATIENTS COME IN GET'S VITALS DONE, OTHER PATIENTS ARE SITTING RIGHT NEXT TO THEM. THIS OFFICE HAS LOTS OF STRANGE AND STRINGENT RULES THAT A PATIENT MUST FOLLOW.... YOU ARE NOT ALLOW TO BRING YOUR CHILD (REN) ALONG WITH YOU ON DOCTOR'S VISITS, AND YOU HAVE TO SIGN A WAIVER STATING THAT YOU CAN ADHERED TO THOSE RULES....THE PATIENT LOAD IS CRAZY , YOU CAN HAVE AN APPOINTMENT THAT IS SUPPOSE TO START AT 1PM , AND YOU MAY NOT GET OUT THERE UNTIL THE OFFICE IS CLOSED..... I AM TELLING YOU....TIME IS LOST WHEN YOU GO THERE...JUST CLEAR YOUR CALENDAR FOR THE WHOLE DAY, BECAUSE YOU WILL BE THERE AND THEN SOME........
