b.l.u.e. is by far one of the best eating establishments in Columbia. It's not just a restaurant, it's almost an experience.



b.l.u.e. offers valet parking (a miracle in the Vista!) and even if you only tip the valet 2 - 3 dollars, it still beats the $5 you normally pay for Vista parking. And the lot is right behind the restaurant so if you truly don't want to pay for valet, you can park your car there and walk less than 200 feet to the restaurant.



b.l.u.e. is tastefully decorated and offers a trendy, uptown, chic, eclectic vibe. From the wall waterfalls to the ice bar, it's visually appealing and exciting. From firsthand experience I can tell you that it's a great option for a first date; the atmosphere is great, if you order their tapas you will feel satisfied but not full, and they offer a variety of great drinks.



Upon walking in you would think that it would be an expensive establishment, but it's actually inexpensive and moderately priced, and--on top of that--they offer daily specials. I would recommend going on Wednesdays: 1/2 price drink and tapas. I always get the martinis; they have the best martinis in town.



Overall would recommend them highly. A part of me wishes they'd advertise more and weren't sitting so far back from the road so more people would frequent them, but an even more selfish part of me doesn't mind because the means I can always walk in and get a table quickly, lol.
