Visited this place for the first time at lunch on 4/9. It was not what I expected when I walked in, but I committed to myself to try it. After perusing the menus, the lighted and the hand printed, while the rotund cashier leered at me, I asked what came with the Rueben combo. She replied, "How you want that?" and began hitting buttons on the register. I calmly raised my hand and repeated my question. She replied coldly, "Fries and a drink." Against my better judgment, I placed my order for the combo. When my ticket #56 was called, I approached the counter where she was waiting with a go box, a spice shaker in hand and asked if I wanted "my fries seasoned". I replied sure a little. Then she asked, "Is this for here or to go?" I replied for here and she threw 3 napkins on top of the box. When I sat down at the table and opened the box I found a lot of fries and an intact Rueben sandwich on marbled rye. I attempted to cut the sandwich and met resistance as the "deli meat", which looked like lunchmeat, was laced with gristle. Shaking my head and with little time left to consume my lunch, I proceeded to weed out the bad meat and eat what I could. I waited until the flow of other victims stopped and I was the only consumer in the house to approach the cashier who was leaning on the counter with her cell phone. I presented the open go box; pointed to the meat and declared that that was the worst Rueben I had ever had; continuing to explain the condition of the meat. She responded with, "We don't do the meat. But if you want to speak with the manager...". He happened to be standing next to her by then and I restated my position. He made the same comment, "We don't do the meat." I stated the meat is bad and should not be served, which garnered the same comment. Recognizing there was nothing to be gained from continuing, I stated I would not be back, to which the cashier replied, "You have a nice rest of your day.". After placing the evidence in the trash can, I paused at the door contemplating a reply, but opted to just leave with my experience. I will not recommend this establishment.
