Overall
Watch Out

These people are sneaky. If you're going in for a contact lens eye-exam, make sure you tell them which brand you'd like to be prescribed for. If you don't they'll assign you to a brand called "provision." This "provision," is actually a label that visionworks out of Columbia has assigned to Proclear brand contact lenses, manufactured by Coopervision. Apparently, they are legally able to do this. They buy these Coopervision lenses in bulk and assign their own brand label. It is impossible to find it online at any contact lens stores. We finally had to personally go in and get our prescription changed from Provision to Proclear (even though they're the exact same contact lenses). At first the front desk was unwilling to help (not to mention they always have a bad attitude), after we made a bit of a fuss and asked to speak to the doctor, she was reluctant to change it, but we still had to be fitted for Proclears and come in for a follow-up visit (waste of time). We did not have to pay extra to have our prescription changed. If you run into a problem like we did, demand that they change it. Don't pay any attention to what the dummies at the front desk have to say. Also, if you call and you're on hold for more than 5 minutes, that means the front desk has forgotten about you, so don't waste 1 more minute of your time--just hang up and call again and you'll finally get someone on the phone. Remember, read your prescription carefully before you leave that office! It will save you a hell of a lot of time! Also, beware, the provision boxes are all black with solid colored sides in either red, yellow, green, blue, or white. When you sit in the contact-lens fitting area they're in a cabinet on the left side of the wall.

Consider yourself warned!
