I'd go to Clare or Dow Grace A. Dow library (and most all libraries in our area) because they don't charge for children’s movies and you can keep the movies for one week where as the Coleman Library only allows you to keep there movies two days unless you get them on Friday and then you can keep them for 3 days only because they are closed on Mondays and they don't want you dropping the DVD's in the drop box.
Not only do I have issues with the movies but I also have a problem with the use of their WIFI. They limit you to two hours where as the Clare and Grace A. Dow Libraries allow you unlimited use of theirs.
Updated policies allow patrons to rent movies for one week. Patrons are also now allowed to put DVD's in the drop box. The reason this was not previously allowed was due to the weight of VHS movies and cases - in the past, several DVD cases were broken when VHS movies were dropped on them in the drop box. As of 2014, Coleman Area Library now only offers DVD's and so breakage by heavy VHS tapes is no longer an issue. Wifi limits help to keep bandwidth and internet speed at an acceptable level for all users. The two hour policy is still in place, but exceptions are regularly made for users that need more time for school classes, job hunting and other needs. Please let staff at the front desk know if you need more time.
