Tonys On The Lake

Our venture for Valantines night out began at the Red Lobster. We had just traveled 175 miles to spend a relaxing night away from home. Red Lobster had a wait time of approximatly an hour and we were hungry. We then desided to eat at Tony's which was close to where we had rented a room for the night. When we arrived we were informed it was reservations only, which was not surprising considering it was Valentines Day, but we had heard how wonderful the food was. We desided to have a couple drinks at the bar, then place an order to take back to our room with us. My husband had ordered the stuffed manacotti. We were told, as our meal to go was placed on the bar counter, that the manacotti was kind of broken up but would be very good. When we returned to our room to enjoy our feast, which we were very much looking forward to enjoying, we noticed there were no napkins, plastic forks, spoons or anything else to eat our dinner with. Thank goodness the motel happened to have them in the office. When my husband opened up his dinner he saw a pile of what was suppose to be called manacotti that looked like it was scraped off the bottom of the pan. There was nothing remotly being displayed as being stuffed into anything. The shells were scrambled up with in the stuffing. We were very dissapointed with our meals and will never go back. Our $100 Valentine dinner, would have been better spent waiting to be seated at the Red Lobster. At least there, we would have been able to recognize what we were eating.
