North Idaho Dermatology

I love working with North Idaho Dermatology. Whenever I have a question they take the time to listen and make sure my concerns are addressed.

I had a great experience. Every time I come to the office I feel taken care of and very comfortable (and that is very important to me). All the Dr's are great and very knowledgable, I feel like I learn something new each time I go. I love coming here.

Terrible experience. Went in for a bi-annual examination. Dr. Ringer did not perform a thorough exam. He didn't ask me to take my shirt off, let alone examine my legs, back, etc. I pointed out a suspicious mole on my arm. He did a biopsy on that mole and charged $170 for the biopsy and $180 for the office visit, plus a bunch of ancillary charges for trays, bandages, etc. Since he did not do a body exam, I thought the office visit charge portion of the bill was a bit excessive. When I complained, Dr. Ringer (through his rep) indicated he felt good about what he did. How can a dermatologist feel good about not examining the patient's skin? Now I

have to go see another dermatologist to get the exam I went to NID for.



There is a big section in the lobby where they sell creams and cosmetic items. Seems like they put more emphasis on trying to sell you expensive cosmetic items and procedures then showing any genuine medical concern. Feels more like the make-up counter at Macy's than a professional doctors office.
