Mitsui Buffet

This is a dirty restaurant. There are have flies. And no service. The Leftovers food for the customers.

Came in around 3pm. Didn't have to wait long and received our drinks within 2 minutes. As a Japanese the sushi is ok but not the real thing. You can obviously tell from the way they made the rice. My partner loves the sushi so maybe I'm just picky. Overall the price is not bad for the food.

They have really good food, sushi and service, my family and I are very pleased.

Came in for dinner 4/29/13. Waited forever for drinks, tried they're orange chicken and it tasted like fish, must have been fried in the same oil. We asked the busboy if we could have drink refills but he told us to ask one of the waitresses. When we
asked she brought our bill right away no refills. We couldn't eat anymore with out having something to wash it down with. We left right away! My family and I all came home with intestinal distress. Save your money, their food and service is not worth your hard earned dollars!

Do not come here. This place used to be nice and they used to have nice service but the last two visits have been nightmarish. Currently here right now and night started by getting a fork with some old food and part of a napkin still stuck to it. The waiter took our drink order promptly but did not return with the drinks for close to 30 minutes. When we asked for more napkins, we were told we only get the black cloths that they wrap the napkins in and that should be sufficient. The food sushi area was empty and when my wife asked for some salmon sashimi the guy behind the counter replied rudely later. 1 hr later there was still no new sashimi set out. Request for drink refilled were slow. After we got fed up with the horrible service, we ask to leave and requested the check, we paid with our debit card and placed a $0 on the tip section because we had left a cash tip yet the waiter stood rudely looking at the merchant receipt constantly stating that the tips not included in the bill even though we kept telling him we already left a cash tip. This is by far the last time my family will visit this place which is a shame because it used to be such a nice place.

These are pictures of the back trash at Mistsui. The smell coming from this is so bad you can smell it from the other side of the parking lot! The reason I'm posting these pictures is because I've asked the owner numerous times to stop dumping their cooking oil and greasy waste into the regular trash cans, where it leaks out onto the street and into the city drains. The owner denies being at fault and refuses to do anything about it. Something HAS to be done.

The BEST Japanese/Chinese restaurant in Clovis. The service is mostly superb and the food is ALWAYS GREAT!!
