Northridge Apartments

From the moment my sister and I moved in as a graduate student/adjunct teacher and college senior, she acted very suspicious of us, questioning why we had gardening tools in the yard, instructing us to not wash our cars in our spaces, and also telling us not to do a myriad of other daily things such as park ANYWHERE other than our parking spaces. The main reason that we're giving her our 30 days' notice is because she berated me over leaving garbage outside of the dumpster in an effort to not get stung by the SECOND infestation of stinging bees. She snapped and pointed and admitted that the reason that she knew our garbage was out was because a neighbor admittedly dug though our garbage to find an envelope addressed to us. The landlady did nothing to protect our privacy or promote a feeling of welcome from day one. I would never recommend these apartments to anyone under 30, students in any capacity, or any minority who likes to be outside. She's rude, disrespectful, and anything but honest in the way she deals with business matters (the day we signed the lease, she informed us that the rent went up even after we had dealings based on a lower monthly rent).
