The most caring place in the world! From the time they picked my mother up the caring staff took care of our every need and request. We found the facilities to be top notch and the service most professional. In addition we found the cost to be very fair and received value for what we selected. My family and I highly recommend Calhoun Funeral Home! You will not be disappointed. They are simply the best!!!

Real rating: -10 The absolute worst place in the world. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. The funeral home did not pick my son's body up for cremation for more than a week after his service was held. He was apparently not cremated for more than a week after that. I was not provided with his urn for a month after his service. The urn was not the one that I ordered. The funeral car was late picking us up. The funeral home was not open when we arrived only one hour before the service. The death certificate was provided by the medical examiner office and was not filed by Mr. Calhoun for more than a month after it was provided. City Hall advise they've had this problem with Calhoun's many times before. When I called Mr. Calhoun regarding this he lied blatantly. This was the absolute worst place in the world. If you want any peace of mind or peace for your family member do not... I repeat do not go to this place. It's very pretty to look at and that's about it. By the way Mr. Calhoun didn't even have enough respect to call and apologize and meet with me at my request. It was drastically overpriced at more than $6000, but obviously a grieving mother is willing to pay anything to try to get through this process. I feel like these people are predators of the helpless and brokenhearted. Urging you to stay away from this place. Don't be a victim like I am. It felt like they murdered my son again every week for the two months I had to deal with them.
