In addition to reimbursement for the cost of the product itself, the guarantee includes reimbursement for the treatment of heartworm disease or intestinal parasites should your pet contract heartworms or specific parasites while taking their prevention products. Online pharmacy guarantees typically cover only reimbursement for the cost of the failed product, and may not cover the costs of subsequent treatments. The treatments for failed preventatives can be very expensive, not to mention the extreme risk to the animal.

Heart Disease Treatment
DCM is a disease of a dog’s heart muscle and results in an enlarged heart. As the heart and its chambers become dilated, it becomes harder for the heart to pump, and heart valves may leak, which can lead to a buildup of fluids in the chest and abdomen (congestive heart failure). Historically, DCM has been primarily linked to a genetic predisposition in certain breeds, but emerging science appears to indicate that non-hereditary forms of DCM occur in dogs as a complex medical condition that may be affected by the interplay of multiple factors such as genetics, underlying medical conditions, and diet. Aspects of diet that may interact with genetics and underlying medical conditions may include nutritional makeup of the ingredients and how dogs digest them, ingredient sourcing, processing, formulation, and/or feeding practices.

Dentistry: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.
Veterinary Surgery
Surgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. We have an excellent relationships with board-certified veterinary surgeons at our regional specialty hospitals for advanced and complex surgical needs of our patients.
Spaying and Neutering
Spaying or neutering can be done at approximately 6 months of age. Your pet is given an exam prior to surgery to help determine whether they are healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure. Current vaccinations are required at the time of surgery. Also a pre-anesthetic blood screen is recommended prior to undergoing anesthesia and surgery.

Laboratory Services
We offer in-house blood testing before surgery, which we will go over with you when you bring your pet in. Our doctors prefer a pre-surgical screen, because it gives them the most information to ensure the safety of your pet. For geriatric or ill pets, additional blood tests, electrocardiograms, or x-rays may be required before surgery as well.

Boarding
Boarding: We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Friday.
Grooming
Ward personnel are responsible for animal handling, bathing and grooming, cleaning, feeding, laundry, waste disposal, and running lab work.
