Sam Ash Music

I originally order a guitar from Sam Ash on ebay. They sent me the wrong one, which I was pretty livid about. So I went to their website because they aren't great at replying on ebay. I didn't feel anyway. So I went to their main website to contact someone about this issue and boom live chat window popped up, I explained to a gentleman by the name of David Weintraub what had happened. He asked me if it was okay to call me and I said sure! Not even 15 seconds later my phone rings. Kinda freaked me out because I didn't know they had my number but if he looked it up on their ebay, that would explain it. Anyway, he called me immediately, gave me a few options, e-mailed me the return shipping label, I repackaged it and sent it back. Got the one I originally ordered maybe a week later give or take, and boom the rest is history. Both guitars were in fantastic condition especially the one I originally ordered and just got not too long ago. Considering it was used and I got a really good deal on it. Really nice guitar. Couldn't even tell if it was used or not to be honest. I wouldn't be surprised if it was new even though I paid for it used because that's the kinda guy David is. He really stepped up and assured me that he had my back and everything was gonna get taken care of. And he did. David was such a nice guy to deal with, even though I was pretty ticked about the mix up, I understood. We're all human. We all make mistakes. Even if it wasn't him personally making the mistake he represented his company with pure class and professionalism. He even called me personally when they shipped me the right guitar and after it got delivered to my house to make sure it was the right one and it wasn't damaged and it sounded good. I'm tellin ya... Awesome employee and an awesome company. Couldn't have asked for a whole lot more in this situation.

Went with daughter to try out and purchase a Meyer saxophone mouthpiece. Staff were helpful and gave us the practice room to work in. They weren't overattentive but I think that's a good thing. If they have a customer in front of you when you want to pay there isn't really anyone else to take your business but that is balanced by the fact that the people are knowledgeable about what they sell and easy to deal with. I wish they had bigger selections on woodwind stuff but I've never had a bad experience here.

Sam ash is my least favorite music store they don't let me jam... And that is no normal for a music store... Or in simpler words they suck.

went into the store with lots of cash and wasnt busy at all, I wanted to mod my PRS and was looking for hardware parts,pickups, etc. I had PLENTY of questions...during the first 45 min. no one offered any assistance. the guy was too busy talking to his buddy in the acoustic section....after i had my hands full of stuff i went to the register to stand there for another 10 min. finally i just stared at the guy in the acoustic section long enough to get his attention and when he finally came thru the door I was soooo mad that I threw all the stuff on the counter and stormed out...I was planing on spending a few hundred bucks, this is BAD for BUSINESS.the worker probably doesn't care but the store management/owners should care as its driving away potential high price purchases. hopefully this wont repeat if i decide to go back to the store in the future.although now Guitar Center will be my first stop for gear....
