        A++++ They are the best!!

        About 2 and a half years ago I decided to do something for myself. I was always bothered by my smile. It was gummy and my teeth went inward as well as having this horrible TMJ problem. (It was so loud sometimes when I ate that people would actually TELL me they could hear my jaw click). SO - after the birth of my twins, I decided it was time for Mama to do something for herself. I went and had a consult with Dr. McDowell and he thoroughly reviewed my "file" so to speak. He told me that braces would definitely bring my teeth forward, help with my TMJ as well as my bite. We were not sure about my gummy smile at that point but that was enough to hear in order for me to get my braces put on. He put me at ease being as I was a bit scared and skeptical being as this was the first type of "cosmetic" work I have ever done. EVEN though this was NOT really cosmetic being as my teeth NEEDED THIS - you know what I am getting at. SO - to make a long story short - I am SOOOOO happy and proud to say that after 2 years and 2 mos. of treatment I have PERFECT teeth! NO MORE GUMMY SMILE OR TMJ EITHER!!!! Also a PERFECT bite!!! I cannot believe it!! I was almost in disbelief when he removed my braces and I saw how pretty my mouth really was!!! This went far and beyond my expectations! FAR! I was a difficult case, let me tell you. I had to have my bite corrected, (which is perfect now) - my teeth straightened and ALL that over crowding fixed... to have ALL of my hopes and desires of how I wanted my teeth to turn out come true...UNBELIEVABLE! But it is!! Dr. McDowell always answered all of my questions with patience and kindness. His staff was ALWAYS friendly and there to help me..even if I had an emergency!! Of course, everyone knew my name after a few months of treatment so I felt at home going in. I am so, SO happy about new smile. I don't have to hide my teeth when I laugh anymore which is a hard habit to break! Dr. McDowell and his team are wonderful, caring people! I definitely, DEFINITELY would reccomend them to anyone and everyone!!
