Affinity Holistic Clinic

I contacted Dr. Fudens several years ago after searching for a holistic doctor to work with when we got our little dog, Ashlee. I spoke with him a very few times on the phone since I live in Indiana and he was always rather gruff and short with me. I got a little help from the lady that was apparently his receptionist back then.



About 3 years ago Ashlee started having some health problems even though I've had her on a raw food diet and no junk. She'd have sores on her back and her rectum became raw. I decided to try Dr. Fudens, 1st for some of my health problems, then again for Ashlee, even though I didn't like his behavior from before. It started out OK, and as long as I followed all he said to a T and didn't question anything he was polite and it seemed to be working. I told him up front that I'd have to pay in at least a couple of installments. He agreed to that.



I've used homeopathy before so I know pretty much how it works, and I'd take what he told me to, or give Ashlee her remedy but after a very short time we'd get worse again, and I'd email my observations, sometimes mentioning something someone else had said or recommended. He kept going on and on about how nobody else (no matter who they were or what approach they take!) knows anything about what they are doing! Then he’d say to just stop taking the remedies and retake after a few days; no explanations.



Apparently he thought me sending emails to fill him in on my progress or lack of it as too much commentary and just before I was going to pay him the last half he just took it out himself, using my card number! Then proceeded to blast me saying I had wasted far more money dealing with all the “quacks” I’d dealt with before him, and that if I wasted any more of his time with my mundane complaints he’d start keeping track of the emails and charge me for that!!! This was the final comment: “You want to whine and complain talk to girlfriends, family members or others who will listen. Your only task dealing with me is to follow my directions and check in when I ask you to.”



I’m totally sold on holistically treating anything, but it’s sad this guy got into a great practice, but he’s very rude and hard to work with. I was so sick when I first went to him it was affecting me emotionally; and true homeopaths know that’s part of what needs help! We’re all interconnected.



I did find a great holistic vet, Dr. Jeffrey Dupree and what he was doing really helped our little Ashlee. Very sadly, he passed away last year!



I can highly recommend holistic treatment because it’s worked for me; but just be warned; if you go to Dr. Fudens, toughen up a bit! He won’t mince words and whether he’s helping you or not, he’s the only one that knows what he’s doing and you better do what he says!
