After several attempts to diagnose on my own, with no success, I was referred to Arrant's by a trusted friend and neighbor. I was first impressed that they were willing to schedule an appointment THE SAME DAY. Mike even tried to tell me what he thought the issue was and offered to let me call him from Lowe's or Home Depot so he could tell me what parts to buy and how to repair what he thought was a clogged drain pipe, just so he wouldn't need to charge me for a service call if it was something so easy to fix. After I told him all I had tried He agreed to come and check it out. He quickly found the drain pan had a crack in the back and came up with an ingenious "temporary" fix that will likely last long term and not require a new drain pan. Mike and his son were courteous, thorough, and most of all, HONEST! I was referred to Arrant's HVAC by a friend and I'm definitely going to refer my friends and family to Arrant's as well!

After having another company come and look at my Air Conditioner and tell me that I needed a new compressor, I contacted Arrant Heating and Air. Mike came and took a look at it. As soon as he opened the panel he was SURE that it was NOT the compressor, but the capacitor. He showed me the capacitor and oil on the inside of the panel, which should have been obvious to any technician. Five minutes later my Air Conditioner was running perfectly and my house was cool again. The cost was One Tenth of what the other company was going to charge me. We experienced a shutdown of our furnace on Saturday, January 26th. I called and spoke with Mike Arrant and he was understanding and came right out. Our problem was quickly diagnosed, parts ordered, warranty handled, and everything installed within a matter of a few days. I contacted Jim Arrant to install a Napolean gas stove in our new home. His pricing was much more competitive than other companies I contacted. Installation was professional and timely and Jim was very courteous. The fireplace looks and works great. I would use Arrant heating again.

I paid Arrant to do five things. They did three of them. They were very nice and did good work, but don't ask them to follow through or to do the work they said they would perform for the amount you spend. He had to come back multiple times because he wasn't prepared after his first visit. He told us that one of the items he quoted us would cost us an additional 85-150 bucks. We told him no thanks because we weren't interested in this game any longer. Just go. Well, he still charged us the original amount he told us to do ALL FIVE ITEMS. He only did three. Feel free to go with these guys if you want to get ripped off.
