The Gabrielson Clinic for Women offers minimally invasive hysterectomy procedures. A hysterectomy is the removal of all or part of a woman’s uterus or reproductive organs. The reason for removal is usually medical-related for conditions such as endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, uterine prolapse, abnormal bleeding, cancer and others.
Pregnancy
A pregnancy is considered high-risk if there is an increased chance that the baby or mother has a health condition. A high-risk pregnancy does not mean a complicated pregnancy or delivery, but rather the expecting mother receives more frequent attention. You may be considered high-risk if you have or have had certain medical conditions. Notably, high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, or previous complicated pregnancies.

Laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy is a procedure in which the doctor uses a laparoscope and instruments to remove the uterus and ovaries through the vagina.
Knee Replacement

Endometrial Ablation
During this procedure, the doctor inserts a small wand with a triangle-shaped net that expands, covering the size and shape of the uterus. Once expanded, the netting sends radiofrequency energy for around 90 seconds, removing the uterine lining. Once complete, the doctor will remove the wand, net and uterine lining.
Laparoscopy
Diagnosis of endometriosis is done by a laparoscopy and tissue samples. Other testing will be done prior to this, which could include an ultrasound, biopsy, or hysteroscopy.
Reconstructive Surgery
Providers Dr. Dan Gabrielson and Dr. Costas Apostolis specialize in pelvic reconstructive surgery and offer minimally invasive procedures to treat pelvic floor prolapse and other pelvic health conditions.
