Had the best stress free experience ever. Sales person Patrick was knowledgeable and calm. I was amazed that they would pick up my trade in and bring the new car and the papers to be signed to the house. Never had that happened before. "Great job done by everyone. Great customer service to all.

My experience started with an online inquiry on a Sunday while the business was closed. To my surprise I immediately received a call from Pete Fowler the online sales representative,with whom I set an appointment for the next day. Pete was able to answer all of my questions and work with me through the entire sales process. Even after purchasing the vehicle they have followed up several times just to make sure that I've been satisfied with the car and the experience. The entire staff has been great!!

We were purchasing a first car for our new driver in the house. We were not sure what type of car , SUV or truck we needed or wanted. Robert was a great help with narrowing down the field. Murph and Robert both made sure we ended up with the right vehicle and that we were comfortable and sure of our choice. Heather quickly responded by txt and email. Within that day, Sat., she also went out on the lot to check to see if the truck was 4 wheel drive and responded within 30 mins, that it was not. She then sent me photos/bios of other 4 WD cars/trucks that Matthews Motors had on their lot. I ended up buying the car elsewhere and I was able to txt her so she could end her search. I appreciated her prompt, courteous service.

This dealership is amazing everyone of the employees are very friendly and informative the management is great and it's just an all around beautiful dealership. I bought my 2015 Hyundai Sonata a couple days ago and Dennis the finance manager got me a great deal. Low payments, low interest. Murph was so friendly and explained all the details of the sale since this was my first vehicle purchase I couldn't ask for a better car buying experience.

I knew which car I wanted to test drive and called ahead to ensure it was still available. I wasn't worried about being approved for financing, so it was just a matter of saying "Yes, this is it" and making a few minor decisions. Murph was easy to work with; he contacted by insurance company, made arrangements for tags to be transferred, and had the service department do a final cleaning (not that it needed it). Great experience.

I liked this dealership for many reasons; it is hometown car dealership and I believe in supporting your town, and everyone at the dealership has been great, a friendly atmosphere and Steve Matthews has one of the most respected business in town and also in the Triangle area! I would highly recommend this dealership as it is First Class! My car I have now was purchased at Matthews and my next one will be too!

Was a very easy process, settled on car and price, and it only took about an hour or so for the paperwork. Everyone was friendly and more than helpful, the people were very knowledgeable and covered all my questions on the different vehicles regardless of manufacturer. The finance people know their job well and get you through very quickly and not having you sit around waiting for hours. I would highly recommend this dealer and would definitely buy from them again if the opportunity arises.

This is the PLACE to get your car. They have any vehicle you want, if it's not on their lot then they are very quick to get you exactly what you want. Dave- the GM was very helpful with all of my needs and seems to know exactly what would fit me and my budget the best. He was spot on. Steve Matthews has a GREAT reputation for helping lots of people get cars and taking care of them after the sale. The entire dealership is beautiful. I've been in lots of used cars stores and this one is by far the best. Not just the facility, the people were all friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Best experience I've had.

We were very committed to our budget limitations and he assisted in getting our truck at a fair and reasonable price within our budget. I highly recommend Matthews Motors in Clayton, NC! They do a great job of listening to what you want and are not pushy when buying a car. I had a lot of questions and they were able to answer everything I threw at them. There are also some great perks with buying a car here!!!! Also, the general manager Dave is awesome!!!! He makes sure things are taken care of and you leave a satisfied customer!!!! Highly recommended!!!!
