This was a horrible first time home buying experience with this company. From the beginning there was confusion surrounding the cabinets that would be placed in the home. I was told THREE different colors. After finally getting it established that the cabinets would be bisque, I began the process of picking out the other features of the home. I made all of my selections based off of the cabinets being bisque. A few weeks went by and the cabinets were installed. The cabinets were white. After alerting the agent she insisted that they were bisque. After proving to her the cabinets were ivory, she never apologize about being wrong. I was offered multiple upgrades and options to remedy the issue, only to find out the builder was unwilling to do the very things that were previously offered. After I was given the run around for about two weeks, I requested a meeting with the builder. Michael Ford was not accommodating to a mistake that was made on his company's behalf. During the meeting, I was told I could have my money back or take the home as is. He was not willing to offer any type of concession or upgrades to make up for multiple mistakes due to his company's negligence. After being under contract for a month and 3 weeks away from closing, I am now left to start the process over of finding a home.
