E V S Small Engine Repair

Took chainsaw, weedwacker & powerwasher for service. $40 deposit required. I was instantly told to throw out weedwacker (Ryobi powerhead $129) and throw out chainsaw because engine was locked up, so not worth the repair. Took them 2 1/2 weeks to look at powerwasher, which needed a new gas tank. With prodding, I was told that carburetor was dirty and, again, not worth their time or my money to repair. They did find a used gas tank. As it turns out, the repair person didn't even know that chainsaw has a "brake" bar and that is why it wouldn't start; I fixed the weedwhacker myself by replacing a deteriorated gas line for $9 (Youtube video simplified process); and a new carburetor for the powerwasher costs apx $25, but they refused to do the work. I asked that the chain be sharpened on the chainsaw. When I went to use it, nothing happened, barely a dent in the wood. They insisted that I had messed up the chain by "hitting metal". Never happened. Needless to say, they kept my $40 and tried to justify it by claiming that they spent more than 2 hours diagnosing the problem with powerwasher. The mgr/owner was rude and arrogant and overbearing & condescending to worker.
