America's Best Contacts And Eyeglasses

I took my daughter to get glasses. I had insurance that covered eye exams 100 percent and a $150 of her glasses. I was charged an additional $100 for one pair of glasses that were NOT designer glasses in fact were the second cheapest frames.then about a month later I was sent a bill for an additional 54 dollars. When I called their call center to complain, I was told that my daughter had a contact fitting an exam as well and the glasses were more than originally stated. I was pretty upset especially since my daughter did not have that additional exam. The company refused to investigate my case, and i was not about to pay for things I did not receive. I now have a collection company calling almost daily over this. This is a complete nightmare. This company charged my insurance company and me over 350 for 1 pair of glasses and an exam, plus trying to collect additional 54 from me. 400 is too much for a pair of glasses. I hope telling my story saves others from making the mistake I did by giving this place my business.

I had a very good experience when I went to America's Best for my glasses. I found the sales people to be very helpful and informative. I was not sure if I needed reading glasses ir bi-focals, but they explaned my options and I am very pleased with my new glasses. I got the Transitions since I am very active outdoors and I love them. Technology has really changed and now then turn pretty fast. I also think their prices were very reasonable since I shopped around first. They were lower than all the other places I visited. I will definitely tell my family and friends about them.

I like most got suckered into the $99 club....the do push items on you that you are not there for..Im there for contacts and then they are like check out the deal on the $69 eyeglasses which I fell for, then they say when you where contacts you have to have an eye exam every 6 months..and every single time my perscription would change (every time) the last time they took both eyes up to 5.0 and told me to where 1.50 reading glasses...this time I go in they changed it to 4.75 for the right and 4.25 for the rest and I wouldn't need to use reading glasses....But the final straw was when the eye doctor was chawing and popping her gum during the exam!!!
