An Attorney and Counselor at Law has the role and responsbility to counsel ("tell") a client what behavior is required of him or her, or prohibited by him or her,("what to do")in order to obtain the outcome the client desires within the law. Further, the code of ethics of the legal profession also sometimes indicates that an attorney withdraw from further representation of a client for a number of reasons. In the rare event that this occurs, it is not because the client is a "nobody" but that the choices made by the client, or that the nature of the commuications between the lawyer and the client, have required it. In the event that a lawyer and client cannot communicate effectively with one another, it is best for the client to work with another attorney with whom he can better communicate. And while this is a regretted loss to our office, it serves the client's best interest. All clients are provided with a clear "Scope of Engagement" letter which details both client's and attorney's responsibilities to one another as the basis for continued and effective advancement of the client's legal interests. It is a goal of this law office to diligently strive to win positive outcomes for clients who cooperate with us in the effort to do so.
