Still waiting for a diagnosis after 3 visits and $700 later. I don't recommend this place. Unorganized office. Staff was quick and short with my questions.

The Story of Mia......

Mia is beautiful, healthy year and a half old boxer thanks to the skilled and loving hands of Dr. Fish, Dr. Ransom and all of the amazing people who work with them. Last summer Mia was spayed and had a liver biopsy. All went well with the surgery and she was home the next day Friday. On Wednesday of the following week I came home to find Mia in terrible shape, you see she was allergic to the sutures used and they had started to dissolve while my husband and I were at work. Apparently Mia knew something was really wrong and found a way to open her wound; like any animal she was trying to fix her self and this resulted in her having approximately a foot of her small intestines down her throat when I found her. I grabbed Mia up with all of her insides hanging out and put her in the car and drove the two blocks to North Oaks Animal Hospital. I was so sure that she was gone that I called my husband at work and told him she was gone and that I was at the vet. The very capable assistants at NOAH assured me that all was not lost to just take a deep breath and let them get her checked out. The rest is a blur of emotion but within just a few short hours Dr. Fish had put Mia back together lacking three feet of her small intestine and the prognosis was good. Two days later I was crying with joy when Mia pooped for the first time. Since that day I still wonder at the miracle performed at MY veterinarian’s office. Mia is spoiled rotten and we would have it no other way. Our family is forever grateful for these wonderful and amazing people and as long as we have furry family members we will be regulars at NOAH.
