The Parker House Bed and Breakfast

Wow! Since I was in Paris and toured the Palaces at Versailles, I have not seen such intricately painted ceilings. This was a super place to stya in Cincy as it is only a short walk from the campus on a tree lined street and VERY affordable at $70-115 per night. We had a HUGE edroom with queen sized brass bed and ensuite full bath with claw footed shower/tub, prdestal sink and lift flush toilet. Patty and Mark and their daughter Holly did a super job. If you like antiques this is one from the Victorian era that is superbly decorated. They even sent me home with bulbs form their garden to mine. How cool is that?

I will go back and take friends.

Wow! Since I visited Paris and the palaces of Versailles, I had not seen such ornate and wonderfully maitained ceiling paintings. The queen sized Brass bed in the "gold" room was wonderful. The rooms are so well decorated it makes you want to just live there not just visit. Mark and Patty and daughter Holly were such great hosts. I was given bulbs to take home to plant in my garden even. The claw footed tub with shower and nostalgic pedestal sink and lift flush toilet were working perfectly. It was like staying two nights in a museum. I will go back and take friends. The prices were perfect -rooms go for $70-115 and worth every penny. It was within walking distance of the University on Ohio Ave. Awesome. You will not be disappointed if you like antiques and the Victorian era.
