Quite a few jerks on the staff. Recently, I was looking to purchase a Liberty safe. I tried to connect with Trevor for a week but only spoke through voice mail. I was purchasing this for my husband on his birthday. When we went to look at them in person, we were lied to multiple times. Lie #1- the black chrome costs $300 more on a Liberty Safe. Lie #2- the digital combination lock costs more than the manual one. Lie #3- this safe isn't a second it was just damaged in transit. Lie #4- shipping is free. The safe had a tag which arrived on it and stated what was wrong with the safe from the factory. Target World knowingly buys factory defective safes. The price on this Liberty Lincoln 35 was $3000 with steel gouges and paint defects. The explanation was that it had the black chrome and digital combination which made it worth more. I got the exact same safe with black chrome hardware for $2700 at Gander Mountain. Reason why I didn't order one from Target World? I called and asked for Trevor and the hours he said he would be working were incorrect. I spoke with the largest "business killer" employee at the place. I told him what I was looking to order. He mentioned that they have a safe like I want for $3000. I told him I was not willing to get a damaged safe for $3000 when I can get a new one from Gander Mtn for $2700. He asked if I could hold...came back on and told me that Trevor would be back in tomorrow. I told him I needed to order it today as it is my husband's birthday. He told me to "order it from Gander Mountain then!" Target World runs a shady practice when it comes to their safes. Don't fall for the free shipping. I am getting the safe and delivery cheaper than a defective safe with the exact same features. Go anywhere else! You will be treated better, not lied to, get a competitive price, and an overall better buying experience.

Bought my first gun last week. Ryan R was the salesperson and he was awesome. My first time filling out the required paperwork seemed, at first, daunting, but he was extremely helpful and very efficient as well. When he went into the back room to complete the check, I did not stand long at the counter before someone else checked with me to make sure I had been helped. Ryan returned shortly and wrapped the sale up beyond my expectations

I walked into target world tod...

I walked into target world recently and spent a few mins wondering around then waited at the counter for help. I was within 5 mins helped by Ryan R. He just finished with another customer and promptly started helping me. I had already done some research online as to what I wanted, and was pretty set, but had a few questions about a different gun I was interested in. He told me everything I wanted to know and made me feel secure about what I wanted by recommending the exact gun I had settled on for my needs. He set me up with a Glock 23 which seemed like the perfect fit for me. Definitely a customer now as the experience was top notch. I no sooner was talking to Ryan than I had guns in my hands and was able to get a real feel for them. Will definitely be buying here again because of him.

It sounds like - as with a lot of businesses - if you get the good guy behind the counter, you'll have a good experience. Sounds like I need to be sure and ask for "Tim" based on the other reviews! I recently returned to Target World to do some shooting after a long hiatus, long enough that I really don't know anybody at all. The place was crowded but I managed to get on the range after about 45 minutes. The range guy was very helpful and patient showing me the ropes on gun(s) I was not familiar with. On the other hand, when I went to look at guns in the store, the first guy behind the counter reacted to my question as if I had just ordered a Big Mac and fries. We're talking a young guy here not an 80 year old with alzheimers. I think ownership/management is responsible for not hiring goofy employees - but things being what they are, I split the difference. I'll be back, but try and figure out who to deal with behind the counter, and who not to. Shouldn't be that way but it is. TW now has serious competition over in Blue Ash. Newer, larger, cleaner - friendlier - maybe... but very pricey$$. TW has been around, lots of members and long timers, but they are doing ok at handling this influx of first timers, which has to be stressful for the employees. So I cut them some slack but I'll avoid Mr. Goofy behind the counter, maybe bring HIM a Big Mac and fries and tell him to just take a break... LOL.

I stopped by recently and purchased a CZ pistol. The quality of this product was better than I anticipated. A young named Tim was the salesperson who assisted me. He was patient, able to answer all of my questions and provided excellent service.

While visiting the store I noticed a second firearm that caught my eye. My wife had asked for a Beretta PX4 Storm compact (3.2") for her birthday. I wasn't able to find that particular pistol at the time and was surprised to see it available at your store. Needless to say, I ended up purchasing both the CZ and the Beretta. My wife was surprised and very pleased with the quality and fit of the Beretta.

Never go to this store. We stood at the counter for ten minutes not one of the workers even said hi to us looked at us or even acknowledged our presence, and they have outrageous prices.

rude people charging too much

It's a good place to shoot but if there were any other options at all I would never step in their doors again! Never been treated that badly before by a place that wants my money. They are over priced also.

Huge selection and good prices. Staff are very knowledgeable and give great customer service. Yes, you may have to wait at the gun counter for a minute, but is you want the right gun and to get knowledge of your gun, the wait shouldn’t be a problem. After buying a 9mm I got an hour for free in the range. I definitely recommend this store.

We have been looking for a concealable weapon for a period of weeks and happened to stop by the Target World shop several weeks ago. David D. was our customer service rep our first time there and was very helpful in working with us to identify a weapon which might be best suited for me and my wife.

When we returned , we waited for David to be available. He recognized us from our first visit and was quick to assist us when he finished what he was working on. Again we discussed various weapons and accessories and decided to go with the Glock 9 mm Model 26 Gen 4. It was a good visit and we wanted to complement David and let you know about his service.

We have yet to fire the weapon but will be back for that once we check out the gun more and become better familiarized with it.

Thanks to David !

I haue a knife i bought brand new at 35.00 they the exact knife and want 100.00. Do a price check at other places if you can avoid there mark up

Even if you dont know squat ab...

Even if you dont know squat about a gun... you will leave with a heel of lot more info than you came in with. Everyone in there is an expert in their own right. If you go in to merely ask for information, you will get the judgement free information that is important for you to make that anxious first gun purchase. The place is always crowded with people just like you, and remember its a No Whinner zone. The gun range is always busy but filters through if you are an adult about it.

I have a son who is a student of Jim (the archery instructor at Target world). We love taking lessons at Target world and Jim does a fantastic job. The tournament was a wonderful experience and very helpful to the kids (especially the new ones) so that they have an experience in the tournament arena. The first time competing can be extremely scary for a new archer. Not knowing what to expect, what to do, even how to score properly – especially if your arrow goes through the target!!

This was a wonderful experience that taught a lot to everyone. Jim did a great job hosting the event and being an advocate of safety. So important!!

Thanks for supporting this first tournament and we hope there will be many more in the future to continue to build the confidences and successes of the students.
