Roselawn Family Dental Center

I picked this provider when I set up my insurance but I’ve never been there before. I had a tooth infection and was in terrible pain so I called to set an appointment or search for other options. The young lady that answered the phone said the next available appointment was not until February. I explained that I’m not from the area, I was in a great deal of pain and believe that its tooth was infected. The young lady first was response was “Well we can’t give you pain medications without seeing you first” (really? You assume that’s what I’m going to ask for). I explained to her I didn't want pain medication and that I just wanted to be seen so I can get some antibiotics. She replied… “Try the hospital”. I told her that I have already called them and they told me to see a dentist. Then she replied… “I don’t know what to tell you”. I asked her again if she knew of any other place I could go while expressing my fear regarding the infection. I told her about an article I read about a young man that died last year due to a tooth infection. I told her I was worried this could happen to me. Before she rudely hung up the phone she replied… “What do you want me to do about it?”.

Being in the pain that I was I probably came off a little rude/irritated, maybe even annoying asking so many questions but being in this field and a person calls with a toothache and infection you think they would understand.



Immediately I Googled another dentist and called the first one on the list. I explained the same thing and the woman that answered was very concerned about the infection. She was unable to get me in that day but gave me a couple numbers for emergency dental services that take late walk-ins.



I don’t know how good the provider is but I can say that the office lady was not only rude she unable to show compassion or concern. So, I’ll have to just take my business to someone that can.
