Mercy Health - West Hospital

I recently spent a week in the CVU at Mercy West. If there is a way to describe a hospital stay as "pleasant " it would be this one. The care I received was excellent. My nurses Grace, Kathleen, Teri, Ruth, Molly and Tricia & others were beyond excellent as well as the ER nurse Noel on a very busy,crowded night. Patients Beware:



This hospital is a joke. I got pneumonia from this hospital and was rushed back and had to stay four days after giving birth to my son, because after my C-section they didn't give me the proper breathing tools to strength my lungs after the anesthesia. I could of died from the pneumonia and left my child motherless. Now I owe them thousands of dollars for them not following proper and standard medical procedures. Plus, they won't even offer me financial assistance because I live in Indiana. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone. My whole family was very disappointed in our experience there.

My sister is n rehab at Mercy West. What a wonderful place to be! The nurses are most helpful and kind. I was shocked when I saw my sister since her massive stroke and "Susan" took the time to talk to me and reassure me that they are doing what they can for Betty. I have been a patient at the new Mercy West Hospital in Cincinnati, OH , first in Cardiac ER a couple times in Nov. 2014, they were so caring and really took care of me in record time. I was also an inpatient 2 times and the rooms are awesome, the staff are right there when you need them, I also have to mention the food which now is like ordering room service at a hotel from 7AM to 7PM, if you don't like what you ordered you can call and order something different, I found the food to be excellent as the care the staff gives to you. You feel like a VIP, can't say enough about the staff, excellent, excellent, excellent. You can close the door if another patient is loud, but you have to understand that maybe some people are in worse shape than you and have more pain. It is a great place to recover from whatever ails you.
