I'd like to express my gratitude for rescuing me Christmas eve. My flute just stopped playing halfway through a rehearsal. I couldn't believe I could reach anyone so late that day, just a few hours before the service. Pat took great care and my Brannen was back to normal for the performance. I am so grateful. I've appreciated their guidance and patience with me and my students through the years Her repairs are first rate and have made my deadlines each time. Thank you from an appreciative teacher!

Cincinnati Fluteworks did a great job fixing my sweet Haynes flute. It has been a long time since I had it worked on and I really forgot how well it CAN play. But I don't think it's played this well since it was new, and it even looks beautiful. I have a very light touch and Pat's padding was so careful I have no trouble at all. Everything is nailed. Every other person I've taken it to I've had to take it back several times because I think they have a heavier touch. I couldn't be happier! - And she makes great coffee! Highly recommended!

Pat is obviously experiencing some difficulties. I have had very positive dealing with her in the past, but she has now had my flute for 7 months with sporadic communication about having to do a double overhaul, extreme illness, and only being able to work when she is feeling a bit better. I can be sympathetic with illness but not with lack of communication, especially since she told me that my flute would be overhauled in 3 weeks initially. Is there really only 1 person working at this place of business? I can't get ANYONE to answer the phone or an email! BEWARE. I'm very fearful that I'll never see my flute again.

I only gave Cincinnati Fluteworks one star because it won't let you give it 0. Pat has had my flute and my piccolo for over 7 months now and claims health issues, and waiting on parts as her reasoning for not sending them back. I have now asked her send my flute and pic back even if it is in pieces. I am so upset, I am very worried that I will never see my prized instruments ever again!

There are only two people in the area who fix flutes, and I clearly picked the wrong one. I was given a "three week" estimate...and tomorrow will make it three MONTHS since I gave Pat my flute. I've heard a litany of excuses (from health issues to missing parts), but the fact of the matter is that I haven't had my flute for THREE MONTHS...and counting.

I was finally able to get Pat on the phone and she has agreed to send me my flute via mail, but if I do not receive it by the end of business this coming Friday, I will have no other alternative than to contact the authorities.

North sold my client’s flute on consignment in 2006 but still has not paid most of the sale proceeds. My client has a 2009 civil judgment against Cincinnati Fluteworks LTD and Patricia North. NORTH ADMITTED SHE OWES MY CLIENT THE MONEY AND SIGNED A CONSENT JUDGMENT ENTRY. You can see it all at Hamilton County Municipal Court Case 09 CV 8144.

I just received my flute back from Pat. She changed the pads and did a few other things for general maintainence. I have to say it made a huge difference. My flute now plays beautifully and it is much more enjoyable to play. It did take a little longer than the original estimate but Pat was easy to contact and always responded to my texts/calls/emails. I did express my concerns to her about the reviews and she stated that she had some health issues at that time but had taken care of all complaints. I will go back again.

I went in to buy an accessory ...

I went in to buy an accessory and came home with my Ultimate flute!

I'm a professional player who has been fortunate to have a small but great group of students. Unfortunately, the economy has hit my profession like it has everyone else. I sold my wonderful professional flute a few years ago to pay for badly home repairs. At the time, I purchased a very surprisingly nice pre professional flute from Cincinnati Fluteworks to be able to teach and do occasional gigs with. I've done business with them for years buying flutes for my kids and always came away with some new bit of advise or flute knowledge I hadn't known before. Always a good experience. Last week, I went in to buy 2 Solexa Thumb Ports (they seem to always have low prices on good accessories). I mentioned in conversation what I had been researching in the hope that "some day" I could have another top of the line professional instrument. Pat North answered all my questions, brought up aspects of new flutes I really didn't know anything about - and explained them. She brought out a wonderful group of instruments that played the way that I had described my ultimate flute. Pat had me play them before telling me the models and prices. I really put them through my "tests" and fell in love with one that was soo much better than what I even had "in my ear". It didn't turn out to be the $17000. instrument I had been researching. It was many thousands less. I bought it. I took it home and have been a very happy camper ever since.

The other thing that occurred to me once I got home was Pat had given up 3 hours of her time to help me. I know my trying flutes was unexpected and I know how busy she is, but she never made me feel rushed, or that she had other things to do. I really appreciated that. Many thanks for a wonderful experience.
