Not only are the dresses overpriced, but the employee I enocuntered whose name was Iris was incredibly rude, snobby, judgemental, and unhelpful. The receptionist at the front desk, Courtney was very nice and set me up with a consultant to help me find the dress and help me try it on and even offered my sister and me a beverage. When Iris came out to help me, she asked me if I was buying today, and I said I would if I found the dress and if it was in my budget of less than 1,000 dollars. She showed me where the dresses were in my budget and left me to continue looking and told me to meet her at the front desk when I found one to try on. She left me for another help customer who was committed to buying today, who was with her mom and grandma, and whose budget was probably much higher than mine so she could make more commission off of the dress and never came back to help. She saw me standing around multiple times and didn't offer any assistance whatsoever. She didn't even acknowledge me. She didn't offer to help me try on any dresses and when I asked her to try a dress on, she said someone else would be with me. When I asked Courtney for some assistance on trying it on, she was confused why Iris wasn't helping me. In addition, the sample dresses were disgustingly dirty- not just deodorant marks or makeup marks, but there was black dirt even on the top of the dress around the breast area. The manager did call me to apologize and that was well appreciated, but no compensation was offered for my terrible experience. I will never set foot in that store again, and I will tell every single one of my friends never to set foot in that store. If you must go into that store, ask for Courtney.

Rudest staff (including manager)!

Threatening the bride to put her dress on the rack, for being 1 week late picking it up, (The bride never received a call saying it was in, in the first place). The bridesmaid dresses didnt come in until the week before the wedding! There was no apologies or sympathy for the timing. Every call I made to check in on the dresses, I heard a different story.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE

If I could select zero stars I would...our dear friend & coworker's father died suddenly & the girls at work decided we would get something special for her.We decided to surprise her w/ an extra attachment her wedding dress. She had talked about getting it but never got a chance&then this tragedy happened.

Her best friend called this shop, the service she received was not only rude but appalling& hurtful. The sales lady who answered barely answered her questions and our friend to look up it up herself. Our effort was only to help or friend: Your treatment of our efforts was unacceptable. Perhaps you didn't know the story, but that's why you should be courteous to everyone: you never know what another person is going through & how your actions will affect them.

I have absolutely nothing positive to say about Bridal and Formal. At first I thought I had just one bad experience when I called to ask for a price on a bridesmaid's dress that I was interested in for my wedding. The sales associate was so rude that I thought it was a practical joke. She was not only rude but degrating. I have since had to purchase two bridesmaids dresses there and found that nothing has changed. At one point, I was standing at the counter ready to pick up a dress, and had to ask the sales associate to get up from the chair and help me (she was texting on her phone). One sales associate yelled across the room and literally said, "____, can you help this girl, I don't want to do it"

A family friend went there to pick up her maid of honor dress and they had ordered the wrong size. When the mother of the bride asked to re-order the dress the associates response was, "ma'm, I cannot help if your daughter has gained weight."

I am not exaggerating and never do I even write reviews for stores. Weddings and proms are supposed to be an enjoyable experience, and this place does nothing but infurriates it's customers. The owners should be ashamed. There are many, many bridal other stores in town that offer beautiful gowns and excellent service and good prices. Please give these other stores your business.

They are not helpful if you have a large behind and a small budget!

I went to Bridal and Formal when I was shopping for a gown. They required a $25 fee to "hold" up to 3 selections. I thought that would a good idea. I picked my 3 and paid my fee. When I went back to get the one I liked most, it had been discontinued. And the girl said they were supposed to have called me - however they did not - so I could not get that dress anymore. I asked for my $25 back. She started a big argument with me saying that there were still 2 dress I liked. Regardless, they did not perform as they said they would and I wanted my money back. This went on for 2 months. I talked to every person in that place. I called every day. Finally they gave me my money back. Needless to say, I purchased elsewhere. I do not recommend this place to anyone. IT is a zoo and the prices are not so great. You get warehouse treatment and you have to plow through hundreds of dresses that are packed in like sardines and the way some women act you would think they were free or something. I hated this place. I NEVER recommend them to ANYONE, well, except maybe my husbands ex-wife. -- ha!

Don't let the fancy facade fool you. After incorrectly ordering our dresses, the store made no efforts reconcile or make up for lost time. the dresses arrived days before the wedding. The bridesmaids would not use this store for their own weddings now. I certainly would not advise anyone to use this store if reliable service is important.
