        TRUTH:: it's horrible. They use NO FRESH VEGIES, and the service isn't all that great. By the way, don't order soda. It's 1.99 and only get half a can. Haha... It's really bad. :-/

        fantastic indian food

        Ambar is nested in a puzzling part of Ludlow Avenue where three Indian restaurants with names that start with 'A' compete. Ambar easily emerges as the winner. The food is flawless, the restaurant is immaculate and you'll be back for more.



        We get the saag paneer and the cx tikka masala and share. Both dishes are cooked to perfection. Nowhere else in town can compete. Don't settle for the competition, go directly to Ambar - you'll be rewarded with an excellent meal.

        Best Indian Restaurant in Cincinnati

        Do not bother going to any other Indian restaurant in Cincinnati, Ambar is the best. The food is great, the service is prompt and professional, the wait staff are all very friendly, the atmosphere is lovely, and the prices are very reasonable. I only wish some of the staff that deal directly with the customers had a better grip on English--while going in once to retrieve my camera which I had forgotten there earlier in the day, I was asked "how many?" after explaining my situation to the hostess three times. Very awkward situation. Still one of my favorite restaurants though.
