4WeHelp Cincinnati Movers

I had two experiences with 4WeHelp Movers, one very good, one very bad. Since I can't give 2.5 stars, I’m giving them 2 stars because my last experience was especially bad.

The first time that I used them I had such a great experience that I decided to use them again and requested an estimate for a move that my wife and I were making. Two days after receiving their estimate I called with a series of questions. I was told very politely that the questions would soon be answered by their long distance manager, Jon, who was in Texas. I called back the next day on Monday morning and reiterated my questions. They were: 1) Would the movers help us pack larger items? 2) Since I wanted them to pack some of our items, would they be doing this the previous day or the same day? 3) Since the move was on Monday and their website stated that there was a discount for moves on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, would it be possible to get a discount? 4) What would happen if I had over or under-estimated the number of boxes? Jon began by telling me that even though my estimate from three days earlier had 80 boxes under the heading “3.1 (4WH packed),” he did not have time to pack them. I then asked him to re-price my estimate since I should not be paying for packing that he were not providing. He told me that my request that the price be adjusted for the boxes that he would no longer be packing and my request for a 10% discount that was on their website convinced him that 4WeHelp was not the right company for me and that they were not interested in my business.

I wasted time going through the entire estimation process and then was left to dry in a rude and unprofessional way. The management of 4WeHelp needs to appreciate that giving a customer an estimate and then, three days later, telling them that boxes marked “4WH packed” are in fact not 4WH packed is a problem. Telling them that the price won’t change as a result of this difference is another problem. And treating a customer who is asking for a correct estimate and for a 10% discount that is mentioned on their website as a problem-maker is bad service. I rarely write negative reviews like this, but figured that others should know about this.

besides being an hour late, i thought they did a good job. supposed to have 3 guys and 5 showed up. 2 in a personal vehicle. guys were nice, but once the move was complete, that is when the problems started. tools went missing and wife's diamond necklace is missing. also tip was not distributed evenly. gave to one of the guys and he decided to keep 25% for himself and still take a cut of the remaining 75%. would not recommend to anyone that wants all of their belongings moved without disappearing.
