This is the worst gym in San Diego County. They charge for everything. You can't even get directions to use the machines. The lady that I coerced into helping me had a butt wider than mine and didn't know how to use the machines.....CRUNCH FITNESS HERE I COME!!! If you want cheap, horrible customer service and charges for everything....this is the place for you.

I am giving one star because of the customer service at this gym. Honestly i had some good times here I had been a member for several years and at first I really liked the atmosphere despite the fact it is never really that clean and typically always busy and never really updated as well as the sauna is always used by people who are wet from the pool.

But when I tried to cancel my membership. I had two reasons 1) my skin condition prevents me from using the pool ( and the reason i had stayed all these years was because of the aquatic zumba and kickboxing) and 2) because for some reason 4 times last year I was charged a late fee for payments when I had the money on my card and even when i tried to explain they would refuse to see the bank statements .

The reason I am NEVER coming back. Because as I was canceling my membership , the owner ( which I heard was jerk) but never really experienced, called and well acted like a jerk. He literally started off the conversation by yelling at me as if he was my husband or father / womanizer and said " ARE
YOU KiDDiNG ME" and then i hung up the phone. He then called back and said unless i listened to him he would not cancel my membership ( as if he can do that) . He then continued to yell at me at this point i was holding the phone away from my ear and heard nothing . Then he said " are you listening " and i said uh yah sure. I then told him , I dont even know why you are talking to me after this conversation I for sure will never return to this gym. He then finally gave up and said to put him on hold.

The only thing I can say is , for those older women looking for a place where only older women no men would be this is the place for you . I dont want to take that away I dont know where another one is. But for those of us women who really dont care about that go somewhere else. This place doesnt deserve our money.

I will never come back to this place . I have been disgusted by the membership services and the owner and it just isnt worth the benefits to deal with the negatives. It is a shame because there are some good benefits. But after the conversation with the owner I feel disrespected you do not yell at your customers .
