Teeth Cleaning
The American Dental Association recommends a visit to your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy.
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride is effective in preventing cavities and tooth decay and in preventing plaque from building up and hardening on the tooth’s surface. A fluoride treatment in your dentist’s office takes just a few minutes. After the treatment, patients may be asked not to rinse, eat, or drink for at least 30 minutes in order to allow the teeth to absorb the fluoride. Depending on your oral health or your doctor’s recommendation, you may be required to have a fluoride treatment every three, six, or 12 months.
Dental Sealants
Sometimes brushing is not enough, especially when it comes to those hard-to-reach spots in your mouth. It is difficult for your toothbrush to get in-between the small cracks and grooves on your teeth. If left alone, those tiny areas can develop tooth decay. Sealants give your teeth extra protection against decay and help prevent cavities.

Resin Composite
Newer dental fillings include ceramic and plastic compounds that mimic the appearance of natural teeth. These compounds, often called composite resins, are usually used on the front teeth where a natural appearance is important, but they can also be used on the back teeth depending on the location and extent of the tooth decay.

You no longer need to hide your smile because of gaps, chips, stains, or misshapen teeth. With veneers, you can easily correct your teeth’s imperfections to help you have a more confident, beautiful smile. After your endodontist completes retreatment, you will need to return to your dentist as soon as possible to have a new crown or other restoration placed on the tooth to protect and restore it to its full function.
Bridges
Dental Bonding
Bonding is a conservative way to repair slightly chipped, discolored, or crooked teeth. During dental bonding, a white filling is placed onto your tooth to improve its appearance. The filling “bonds” with your tooth, and because it comes in a variety of tooth-colored shades, it closely matches the appearance of your natural teeth.
Restorative Dentistry
During 2020, Dr. Jones completed two years of her second postdoctoral program as an advanced clinical trainee in the restorative dentistry department in UCLA. There, she gained expertise in minimally invasive veneer preparation, digital smile design, CAD/CAM, implant rehabilitation, and life-like direct and indirect restorations. This makes her a well-rounded specialist: able to offer her patients every aspect of accurate diagnoses, creative planning, and careful treatment of their dental aesthetic and functional needs.

Root Canal Treatment
First, your endodontist will discuss your treatment options. If you and your endodontist choose retreatment, your endodontist will reopen your tooth to gain access to the root canal filling material. Removal of restoration and filling material allows access to blocked canals.

Dentures
Dentures are natural-looking replacement teeth that are removable. There are two types of dentures: full and partial. Full dentures are given to patients when all of the natural teeth have been removed. Partial dentures are attached to a metal frame that is connected to your natural teeth and are used to fill in where permanent teeth have been removed. Just like natural teeth, dentures need to be properly cared for. Use a gentle cleanser to brush your dentures, always keep them moist when they’re not in use, and be sure to keep your tongue and gums clean as well.

Maxillofacial Surgery
Universidad de Carabobo for her Doctorate of Dental Surgery and received a master's orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics after completing a three-and-a-half-year residency program. During her training, she learned different treatment philosophies and trained in lingual orthodontics, clear aligner therapy, and dentofacial orthopedics (for the treatment of little ones), and routinely treated cases with a combination of orthodontics and maxillofacial surgery.
Tooth Extractions
He has published and reviewed research articles in reputable national and international dental journals. In 2016, Dr. Elmisalati became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is well versed in minimally invasive dental surgery, including impacted wisdom teeth extractions, gingival grafts, and implant placements. Bone Grafting
Autogenous Bone Grafting: Occasionally, the ideal areas for dental implants do not have sufficient bone quantity to support the implants. In these cases, it is often necessary to “borrow” bone from another area of your mouth and graft it into the deficient area. Often, the area of choice is from the chin or in the back of the jaw where your wisdom teeth used to be.
