Jesse Brown VA Medical Center is a 180-plus-bed acute care facility. The center also operates community-based outpatient clinics. Jesse Brown VA Medical Center serves approximately 62,000 veterans who reside in the city of Chicago and Cook County in Illinois and northwestern Indiana. The center has a staff of more than 1,800 employees, including over 180 physicians and nearly 590 nurses.
