DO NOT USE - will not fix their mistakes

I had a new passenger side door glass up in my 86 Mustang. After going over what year and model the car was several times with the owner he told me had the glass and that they could install it during the week. I asked if they could come out on Saturday. They did. They came with the wrong glass. I called the owner back and he said it was the correct glass for a 96 mustang. I told him It could be but I have an 86. He did some checking and said he had the glass and would come out on Monday. I tlod him I work and can only do it on Sat or Sun. Anytime was fine either day. He came out the next Saturday with the correct glass. Replaced the window. I payed and was all good. 2 weeks later I went to roll the window up in preperation to put the new weather stip in place ( I am restoring this car ). The window was about 1.75 inches shy or rolling all the way up. The new glass had different stops on it and would not allow it to roll up completely. I called the owner back and he said they would come out on Monday. As before I said only a weekend would work ( they have 24 hour service ). He said Saturday was fine and to call back that morning for a time frame. I called back and he told me he could not do it Sat. but could Sun. He said to call back Sun. I did. They could not do it, but could Monday. Again, weekends only I told him. This went on for 3 more weeks. He would say they could come on Sat or Sun and then would say they could not. Finally I called and said it had to be fixed, would Friday work. He said yes, week days are best. I said ok I will take Friday off. He said Ok. Friday(5/15/09) came I called him and he said he could not do it because of the weather. I said the car is in a garage. He said no. I clled back in the afternoon, around 4:30. He said they would come out on Saturday. He took my # and said he would call in the morning. I heard nothing and called at 9:15 to see what was going on. Someone besides the owner (the owner had always answered before) answered and said the owner was out. He took my info and said he (the owner) would call soon. I called back 3 more time. 11.00 - 11:45 - 1:30. They never answered my call. I called from the friends house that the car is at at 1:30 and they answered. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Go with an autobody shop or another glass company. I will also be filing this complaint with the BBB.

Nick -- rude, irate, ungrateful

I made an appointment for a Sat 8:00 window replacement. When I called earlier, the person on the phone said they had the glass for the make/model/window for my car. When I arrived (I was the only customer there), they had no record of my appointment. I waited more than 30 minutes before Nick (Owner/manager?) came out and said that they actually DIDN'T have the glass for my car, but they were calling around trying to find it. (It took them 30 minutes to figure that out?) When I questioned why it took them so long to discover that, Nick became irate, cussed me out, said that he didn't 'give a damn' whether I took my car somewhere else, but that his employees (who, by the way, were exemplary) had already started on my car and I would 'lose all the screws' if I drove away to go somewhere else.



The profanity was unbelievable. When I tried to have a conversation with him, he answered his cell phone and just walked away. When I said that I was going to go somewhere else, he made pleadings about how he was doing the best he could, and that his guy had just gone to get the glass (I had, by this time, been there 70 minutes) and he was trying to make me feel like I was obligated to stay and put up with his crap.



When I told him where I would be going - just down the street - he insisted that he had just called there and they didn't have the glass I needed. In fact, I had just called there, and they double checked and DID have the glass I needed. So, was Nick lying? Only Nick knows.... He then began using the profanity again and said he didn't need 'my f**n money', you get the picture.



In the end, I stayed to allow his employees (again, who are exemplary) to finish the job. Going down the street would have meant an hour and a half wait - as much as I hated giving this wipe my money, I couldn't afford to spend ANOTHER 1-1/2 hours waiting.



To be fair - and I really don't want to be - Nick, the cusser, did drop the price for the glass/installation by $10. As I was leaving, and I told him I would be posting a negative review here, he again became irate, started throwing around the f-bomb and 'I don't give a damn."



Nick, get some anger management therapy. You will have plenty of time because with your customer service, which sucks, you won't have any customers. Lots of time for counseling. You are ungrateful.



Unless you favor the mediocrity of America - DON'T PATRONIZE THIS PLACE.
