they messed up my tailor fitted shirt.

I bought a white shirt on Syd Jerome downtown for a wedding, I paid $170 for it.

they were careless and didn't check the clothing and they got ink on my white shirt because someone left a pen inside the clothes.



after almost a month of the owner trying to fix it, which they cause more damage on the shirt's collar in addition to the ink spots.

I call him to tell him that I need my money back, he tells me that he called Syd Jerome and that they're having a sale on shirts and that he asked them how much it will be to replace a shirt and they told him about $100 so he only wants to pay me that.



I told him, that it's not what I payed and then he tells me "How do I know how much you pay for it?" after I have showed the original receipts to four different workers on his Dry cleaning place.



He called me a liar, I don't need that kind of treatment, everytime I go there I pay in advance and in full $40-$50 for my suits.

I put up with the black lady's attitude everytime I went there.

I was always pattient when they told me 3-4 days to get my stuff clean when I know other places can do it way faster.



the owner is a jerk, he told me that I only paid $1.99 to clean the shirt and that's why he only wants to cover the replacement of the shirt but is that what business insurance is for?! acording to him not for a shirt.

he even said you can keep the shirt and I give $100 so you can go and replace it, but how am I going to wear a shirt that has ink stains and a ruined collar?! a brand new shirt that I only used once and took it to get clean the following day!!!



any replies on what can I do, will be appretiated.
