Bone Grafting
Two implants are placed in the front of the arch and two longer implants are placed in the back of the arch at an angle. This strategic placement of the dental implant increases bone-to-implant contact which significantly reduces the need for additional procedures such as bone grafting, often required by conventional implant-fixed dentures. The use of longer implants in the back of the jaw also opens up procedure candidacy for patients with low jaw bone volume who may have been told they were not suitable candidates for permanent teeth in a day in the past.

Orthodontics
Conditions that may benefit from early orthodontics include open bite, deep bite, crossbite, crowding, overjet, spacing, missing teeth, and/or teeth emerging in improper sequence to name a few. Orthodontic cases for kids that require the use of a maxillary expander to widen the jaw especially benefit from interceptive treatment during preadolescence because the suture connecting the two halves of the upper jaw has not hardened yet. Others cases in which the upper front teeth protrude excessively should be corrected early on to prevent the risk for trauma or injury in the event of a fall or hit to the mouth during play.
