Bethesda MRI Chevy Chase

I got an MRI on Dec 7, 2017 and never received a bill from them for the portion that Medicare wouldn't pay. They never billed my secondary insurance, which would have paid the remainder of the bill. On May 21, 2018 I got a bill from a collection agency telling me that they requested their help collecting the amount that I supposedly owe them. I called the number on my Medicare statement for them, but the person who answered said they were Innova, (not Bethesda MRI). I looked up the # for Bethesda MRI on the internet and called it. It rang 20 times and there was no answer in the middle of the business day. The collection agency puts me on hold and never comes to the phone. I will have to write to them.

I needed a STAT MRI performed and there were no openings in my area. My physician contacted Chevy Chase MRI and they were able to get me in. I had been postponing the exam for a while and, became nervous upon entering the machine. Kevin, the technologist was so very patient with me and was understanding of my concerns. I appreciate the this because so often medicine is billed by "time". I was given the option to reschedule without feeling like I was wasting his time. This made me even more comfortable and confident in his professionalism and expertise. Thanks for your excellent service and help in making me smile through a difficult situation.
