A wholly owned subsidiary of Donaldson Company, Aerospace Filtration Systems, also known as AFS, designs, develops and manufactures engine inlet barrier filtration systems for commercial and military propulsion devices. Founded in 1998, the company offers solid modeling and tool design services for the development of a filtration media parametric database. It conducts feasibility studies and operating environment assessments, as well as provides cost analysis, design engineering and material evaluation services. The company offers prototype development, filter media and element manufacturing, and composite and metal assembly fabrication services. It has received ISO 9001:2000 certification from the International Organization for Standardization. Aerospace Filtration Systems provides electrical and kit field installation and support and supply management solutions. Its clients include Bell Helicopter Textron, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation and MD Helicopters.
