Make sure, if you get a security box on as agreement to loan, you know what you are doing! I paid my car off a year early and the week I paid it off and was ready to go to Lubbers to get the security box off as agreed, they sold my loan to a company in GA. When I called Lubbers and told them I needed to come pay it off with cash and get my box removed, they informed of this sell, the same week, interesting!! So, I called the company in GA and they don't know what to do. They promise they will send a tool in the mail to remove the box for me, it never comes. Since paying off my car loan it has been shut off twice. Nice!! So, finally I get to go to Lubbers and PAY to get it removed. I love it when two companies get together and decide to take care of numero uno, and it's not you. Nice!! I have stopped my friends and family from buying from Lubbers, they don't have their act together.
