DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

I'M SO FURIOUS WITH THIS LOCATION. First of all customer service is barely okay. No one answered my questions directly only "I'm not sure or I'll get back to you" when asked about the hair options in store. I told the owner that I wanted Brazilian loose wave 14" and I received semi wavy Indian hair 12". I told her that was not what I asked for but she insisted I didn't know my own hair color. The hair was in the process of being sewn-in when I was told that was the last pack they had in the entire store!!!! I told the lady to finish sewing it in because I was in a rush (birthday plans) and could not be late. I realized that only ONE pack of hair was used because of some idiotic 2 finger rule. Because I was in such a rush I didn't realize how badly the hair blended until I got home. And to make matters worse the cheap so called Remi virgin hair was becoming super stiff and began shredding after a month. This cheap hair cost me $100 . I will never step foot in this classless establishment again. The stylist and store owner were boushie and talentless

Overall

While the customer service of the braider and the person that sewed in my hair is great, my experience with The Weave Shop is horrible. My hair was definitely too tight and I informed the gentleman who inquired about my experience there. After only a month, I had to take my sew in out because of the huge bump at the top of my head. My sew in was uninstalled correctly by a sew in professional, and that's when a bald spot was discovered in the middle of my head where the bump was. To make matters worst, the bump exploded the next day, and leaked green pus and blood. I am now on antibiotics. But I have also noticed small scabs on my scalp that also weep. This has truly been a devastating experience and I am afraid of getting another sew in PERIOD. I WILL NOT return to The Weave Shop and I am definitely telling everybody I know of my bad experience. Others, I know have experienced the same thing in the same spot so its definitely not just a matter of poor hair care. My hair and scalp was washed and conditioned weekly. I am truly appalled at knowing that I spent so much money on a subpar service that may have permanently damaged my scalp.

Terrible place

Thy first cane to charlotte and I heard nothing but good things about this shop in other states. So I come into this shop and one girl braids my hair and another sews it in. Fine, I thought. The braiding took about 2-3 hours which is longer than I'm used to. The finished product looked good, I liked it but for some reason my sew in wouldn't lie flat. These stylists do not know how to make alt sew ins. About 2 weeks later I saw strings begin to loosen and tracks began looking entirely older than 2 weeks. So I take it out and I had a horrible time taking the sew in out, the sewing was tangled, unorganized, no broad pattern what so ever. I finally get it all out and I go to wash my hair, I notice that a lot of my hair had been pulled out on the sides and edges, my hair was on the road the health prior to this hairstyle and I had a full thick head of hair. I was pissed. So maybe 2 weeks later I received a courtesy call from someone at the shop an asked about my experience there, and I told him it was TERRIBLE and it pulled my hair out. He had the audacity to state that maybe I cut my hair while taking the sew ins out. No, I have been getting sew ins since I was 15 and 10 years later, you would think that I know how to properly take then out. Never again will I step foot in the "$50 weave shop". Now I have to go through the hair restoration process. Thanks to these talentless women
